Experience
I attended Central Missouri State University where I acquired my bachelor's degree in education and my master's degree in teaching English as a second language. My first love is writing. I enjoy putting together research and composition papers. I am truly dedicated and committed to assisting my students in finding success in whichever subject they're struggling in. I have experienced a number of different teaching methods and scenarios. I like each one equally and think they are all enjoyable. There's no better feeling than the one I get when I see a student finally grasp and master a subject that they were once struggling with. I am currently offering my tutoring services in the Pleasant Hill, MO area. The subjects I am offering are: writing, essay editing, grammar and mechanics, college essays, AP studio art, 2-D designs, 3-D designs, drawing, English, ceramics, and art. While writing comes first and foremost, I also have a love for the arts. I enjoy drawing and painting. I am currently in the middle of designing my own children's books. I have worked hard to draw the pictures and write the books. I am also in the process of writing about the experiences I have had as a teacher. When I am not busy writing, making art, or tutoring, I am usually outdoors either jogging or going on nature walks.
